Sketching At Omaru

One Sunny Day Room 18 and Room 16 went to Oamaru creek to sketch Oamaru creek. All of us was very very excited to sketch the creek. Some people was going to sketch the bridge,some drew trees but I sketched the water,trees,bridge and ducks. The ducks was having a race, If they win they will yell “ QUACK”. Vaifoa was drawing the bridge.

Next was we had to look for a spot because there was duck poo all over the grass. So we found a perfect view of the creek. First I sketched the water and the ducks after I drew the branches and the trees because it will be easier to draw it. Next was the bridge, the bridge was kind of hard to sketch.

After I wrote my name at the back we had put back the books the pencils and our sketching We lined up to go class, We went over the bridge and went passed the nikau palm. And then in the gates of Point England. Then the bell rang and went home.

Swimming Lesson Group 2

This two weeks Mr.Marks Maths group has been doing swimming and our instructor is Laura. She is a good swimmer, Swimming is very hard but you just keep on trying to be a good swimmer. I like swimming but sometimes I hate it because of the chlorine. This is a Short film of us swimming at the Glenn Innes Swimming pools. I Hope you enjoy

Waitangi Day

In a Sudden a Big loud voice came in my dream saying “ Wake up Faaiua Wake Up”. I woke up and suddenly my stomach felt like I was going to faint, I stood up dizzy but I couldn't wait for today because it was Waitangi Day. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth then I ran to my mum and told her “where are we doing today” I asked. She replied back “ We are going to my nana’s house and then go to the swimming pools. We had our breakfast but my mum and dad were making our food because we are going to have lunch there. We hopped inside our car and drove there with our scooters.

Once we got there we played with our cousins my dad said to me “ Go get the scooters inside the car” So I went and got it and I rode  around and around with my cousin. We went to go have something to  eat, we ate Fish & Chips, Chicken and Rice. I felt full so we packed up then went back home to watch some T.V. We finally went home and have a swim, I got ready and went  inside the car to go swimming pools.

When we got there we smelt the chlorine so my mum paid  it to the lady .After I got changed I walked to the swimming pools and jumped with a splash. After my two big brothers ran and done a bomb, I went under the water that I don’t even wet more. After we played rugby my little brother rugby ball, we threw the and ran their slowly because we were in the water . My brother catched the ball and swam to the other side of the swimming pool and ran to the try line. “Try” shouted my brother, finally my it was time to go home but first we had to get changed in the changing room.  I went outside and my dad was drinking juice with my little brother. My family got in the car and went home.

The Great Christmas Tree

Santa claus was just driving his sleigh to the mall but on the way  he saw a massive christmas tree. It was decorated with red shiny bulbs. It was shiny like a sun. “It was the greatest tree of all” said Santa. Santa was thinking and thinking and said “ This should be my christmas tree”. “I reckon I should put it in my sleigh as fast I could” said Santa.

But when he lifted up it fell on his sleigh. Oh no!!! said Santa. He tried to lift it up but it stuck on his sleigh for good. He tried a lot of stuff but it still didn’t work. What I am going to do and the christmas party is nearly going to in an hour.

Santa was thinking and he said “ Maybe I should just ride my sleigh and then it will come off then I lift it up again and chuck inside my sleigh”. Finally I did it. I should hurry up and go to the mall the party is about to start in ten minutes.

Finally he made just in time and all the kids was wishing what they wanted for christmas.

Netbook Reflection 2013

I love my netbook is because it makes us smarter and brainy. My favourite subject I like to do with my netbook is Maths, Because it has Xtramath and Math whizz. Xtramath is like basic facts and math whizz is fun and exciting. Netbooks are really helpful if you just started school. Because they might just come from another country.

My netbook frustrates me because it sometimes freeze when you’re doing something important. The other I kind of hate about my netbook is that it                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                                                            sometimes turns off by itself and sometimes my mouse doesn't work. It annoys me because its sometime slow or doesn't work.

Last year I was at another school called Saint Pius X ,the school had netbooks. It was the year six, seven,eight were only allow to use their netbooks. Netbooks are way better than books and pencils. Netbooks faster and makes you smarter,But sometimes paper and pencil are sometimes cool.

But I think Netbooks are way cooler.
