Faaiua's swimming lesson's

 On a beautiful hot day Room Fifteen had swimming at the YMCA Pools. We got changed quickly into our togs in the toilets and we lined up and went off. When we  got there we could smell the the deep blue water. then we went and had a Rinse.

The lovely instructor Ben said “Who knows how to come in the water safely”. We patiently waited because we didn't know how to do it.  so Taniela put his hand up he turned around then went inside the water safely and Quietly.

all the student in that Group copied him. then Ben said “ put your bottoms on the wall” because we are going to have a breathing competition. I came last but I didn't care. Meleane won and she had to go first in our swimming lesson. It was nearly my turn so I had a big breath and went off  to the island. I couldn't breath so I put my head up and had a small breath then I went at the back of the line again .

Finally The Instructor Ben said “Last one out is the rotten egg”. When I arrived at the showers I  had one because we need to get all of the chlorine off . I went to the toilets to get changed into my uniform and after that we walked back to school and had our lunch.

It was so cool there, even though I came last we had fun!!!   

Swimming lessons

Hi my name Faaiua that was me swimming at the G.I pools I couldn't breath under the water when I was swimming. 

Faaiua's Holiday

In the afternoon in the holidays my family went to the movies at Sylvia Park we watched Wrath of the Titans. Me and my cousins watched it but not mum, dad, little sister and little brother. We waited for my mum and dad because we were waiting for the food and tickets. When we had our ticket we had to go to Cinema 8. When we got inside there wasn’t many people there so we had to look for our seats. When the movie was finished we went to Mcdonalds to eat. We waited for my dad because he dropped off my sister and cousins. Then we went home and went sleep. It was so much fun going to the movies with my mum, dad, sister and cousins.

Sleeping in tent

When it was time to go and sleep in our tent we had to wear our PJ’s. Then we went to sleep but I heard a strange noise outside and whispering. The teachers heard it as well so they got the kids and put them in the staff room with the teachers. Finally I had a good sleep but I was hot so I took my jumper off.

School camp

I am looking forward to going to camp. Kayaking and sleeping in a tent are what
I cant wait for because I have not slept in a tent before. Also I am looking forward to meeting some more friends.

I am nervous about kayaking because I might fall off the boat but luckily we will have our life jackets on.

Blindfold Obstacle Course

This Morning we had a blindfolded obstacle course. It looked very hard because Mr Marks said , “We had to wear a blindfold .”

The First ones were Texas and Henry but the other ones was Laita and Mele they started of funny but they were Brave. Finally its our turn my partner was Sione he was the one to do the obstacle I was the one to guide him through the obstacle course. He balanced on the long seat, walked through the ropes, over the small red beams and  the big blue beam, zig zag across the cones, under the tarpaulin, over the matches, up the stairs and jumped down the stage to the big blue matches. After that we had to take it off  then go to the back of the line.

I had fun. It was cool.

Our School Picnic

  

Last Friday the whole Pt England school went to the Pt.England Reserve. We walked across the Reserve and the playground and we sat down on wet grass.  

Mr Burt told us some rules. If you have no food or water Mrs Slade and Miss Lagitupu have some. We looked for a spot to sit  on our tarpaulin.  Then we went to play.

We played touch its like football touch but its  football. It was cool. We were playing with Mr Marks and Mr Barks. I got a touchdown that means a score.

After that we had a rest because we had to swim. We went to change our clothes quickly before we went to swim. It was awesome I played with Henry and Vaifoa. Then it was time to change our clothes again so we went to the changing room and had a shower.

After that I changed my clothes but I lost my pants. I told my teacher and he said " Have you checked again” and I said “yes" . So I had to wear my pants that I swam with because it couldn’t get dry.

I played Baseball. It was fun playing baseball. It was time to go back to school where we had free time on our Net-books before we had to go home.
